Born in 1983 in Fatih, Istanbul, Mustafa Sacid Öztürk after completion of his undergraduate studies at Sakarya University, majoring in Economics, he embarked on a path of advanced scholarship by enrolling in the master’s program in Economic History at Marmara University. He completed his master’s degree with the study titled “Hülasatü’l Efkar Newspaper and the Economic and Social Situation of the Ottoman Empire between 1873-1875.” He furthered his education within the same academic domain, ultimately earning a doctoral degree with his dissertation, titled “Cavid Bey’s Economic Thought and Practices.” At present, Mustafa Öztürk serves as a Research Assistant Doctor at Kırklareli University’s Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, where he continues to contribute to the academic community.

Sevba Abdula was born in 1984 in Skopje. In 2008, he graduated in economics at the University of Ankara. He completed his graduate studies at Istanbul University, in the Department of Political Sciences and International Relations on the topic “Religion and Nationalism: The Case of the Serbian Orthodox Church and Serbian Nationalism. He completed also is doctorate studies in the Department of Political Sciences and International Relations at University of Marmara on the topic “Power, History and Identity:Narrative of Ottoman and Habsburg Emrpire in the Serbian historiography and history textbooks ”. His research is focused on the Balkans, nationalism, religion-state relations, history textbooks and Serbian nationalism.

Elif R. Nazim, born in Tetova in 1994, graduated from the Faculty of Literature at Trakya University in 2016 with a degree in Turkish Language and Literature. She then pursued a Master’s in Modern Turkish Literature at Marmara University’s Institute of Turkish Studies. In 2021, she participated in the Ottoman Transcription and Compilation Committee, contributing to the preparation of Fettah Efendi’s poems for publication in Skopje. During her studies, she also received professional training in Theater and Hosting and has served as a host for various symposiums and programs. In 2023, she successfully completed her Master’s thesis, titled “Balkan History, Geography, and Culture in the Poetry of Skopje’s Poet Fettah Efendi.” She is now pursuing PhD studies in Turkish Language and Literature.

Zehra A. Sadiki was born in 1999 in Skopje. In 2017, she graduated from “Josip Broz Tito” High School. Currently, she is a student pursuing studies in the Department of Mathematics at “Cyril and Methodius University”. In 2021, She graduated from the “Skopje Academy”. She has demonstrated pedagogical prowess by teaching mathematics courses in different associations and foundations. During 2021 and 2022, she was in charge of Skopje Academy. Between 2021 and 2023, she was a member of the Fettah Efendi Poetry Commission. Since 2023, she has been the General Secretary of the Balkan Studies Foundation and the secretary of the Abdulfettah Rauf Research Center.

Hanife Etem, born in 1997 in Skopje, pursued her studies in Law at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University – Iustinianus Primus Faculty of Law. She further enhanced her education by earning a certificate in English Language proficiency from the Centre for Foreign Languages in Skopje. In addition to English, she is fluent in Albanian, Turkish, and Macedonian. During her academic journey, Hanife gained practical legal experience through a 3-month internship at a law office, where she honed her skills in legal research and practice. She also served as the Coordinator of “Genç Akademi-Akademia Rinore” under the Balkan Studies Foundation, contributing to initiatives in Balkan studies and youth empowerment. In 2021, she successfully completed the Academy Skopje program, marking a significant milestone in her personal and professional development. Committed to broadening her expertise, Hanife participated in prestigious international programs, including “Artificial Intelligence: Ethics & Societal Challenges” at Lund University and “Children’s Human Rights: An Interdisciplinary Introduction” at the University of Geneva. Her multidisciplinary interests and diverse experiences continue to shape her contributions to academia and the legal field.
